Chelsea Hing MDIA began her career with Nexus Designs, one of Australia’s leading multi-disciplinary design consultancies renowned for their work in producing contemporary Australian interiors and the odd well known designer. She was nurtured early on under the eye of interiors doyenne Janne Faulkner and rose quickly through the ranks to senior designer. Whilst at Nexus, she cut her teeth on a wide range of projects for high-end residential clients, commercial developments and hospitality fit outs gaining extensive experience across the board. After several years at Nexus, she then joined Bates Smart, one of Melbourne’s most prestigious practices. There, she consolidated her already extensive residential experience and oversaw interiors for the super luxurious apartments on the 150 Clarendon project for Salta Properties which has gone on to receive record sales.

Returning to her roots specialising in residential & boutique commercial projects, Chelsea established her own design practice in early 2007 – Chelsea Hing Design Consultants – and has been building a reputation for well considered contemporary interiors ever since.
