Chelsea Hing Design Consultants’ interior design philosophy is based on taking cues from the architecture, so that the interiors complement and respond to the surrounding environment. Combined with clever planning and a practical understanding of how people need to use space to live well, the result is interiors that mix great looks with good sense.

Chelsea Hing MDIA began her career with Nexus Designs, one of Australia's leading multi-disciplinary design consultancies renowned for their contemporary Australian interiors. Chelsea went on to establish her own practice in early 2007 and has been building a reputation for well considered contemporary interiors ever since. The firm has been shortlisted for numerous awards including the Dulux Colour Awards, IDEA Awards, National Interior Design Awards and Chelsea was profiled in The Age Melbourne Magazine’s design issue as an up and coming designer to watch.

Chelsea is a member of the Design Institute Australia (DIA) Australia’s professional membership body for qualified and experienced practicing designers.

What we do

We recognise that undertaking a renovation is not something you do all the time and we often advise our clients on the best way to tackle things. We meet with you on site to get an idea of what you would like to achieve & provide an honest assessment of the scale & budget for the project. If you need an architect we can recommend one, but in many cases our design studio has the expertise to manage the design & documentation for interior renovations in house.
